From the tree to the finished product, we cover it all

Thank you for visiting our new Internet site. JTC Woodcrafts is a company dedicated to following a piece of wood from the tree to the final product.  I believe that you should know where your wood and wood products are coming form so that you can make an informed decision.  The woods and products I will be offering here are from locally harvested trees.  One source is my own property.  I believe in sustainable forestry and creating the highest use from my forest inventory.  If you would like to see what is going on in my forest check out my other site: http://texaswoodlot.blogspot.com  Another source is urban logging.  By turning a yard tree into a usable product, I keep it from going into the landfill.  I also purchase some species of wood not available locally for my woodcrafts from other urban sawyers and small family run sawmills.

I have multiple products and services useful to landowners, woodworkers, and consumers.  On the left you will see a tool bar listing the different categories.  I have local woods for the woodworkers.  In here you will find turning wood and lumber.  I have a portable sawmill service serving the DFW area for those who want to turn some trees into lumber, whether it is one sentimental tree or a whole whack of them.  Finally, I have a page for my larger woodworking creations such as cedar and oak furniture.  Smaller items will be listed at: http://jtcwoodcrafts.etsy.com .  Check back often as the inventory will be changing.
